China’s biggest mining fair, the China Coal and Mining Expo 2013 in Beijing, marks the successful conclusion of this year’s trade fair season. The fair is the mining sector’s most important meeting point in the Asia–Pacific region and is held in high esteem throughout the world. To celebrate its 15th anniversary we presented our product portfolio to an expert audience in the ‘German Pavilion’.

In cooperation with our Chinese representatives, CHT Business Services, this year we presented not only our measurement equipment for underground mining but also, for the first time, a selection of products for the bulk industry. Among these products were microwave barriers FQR56/FDR56 and the flow indicator for bulk solids FTR20.

70 percent of China’s energy needs are met by Coal. In the future, coal extraction will have to become more efficient and enviromentaly sustainable. This is where we see opportunities for our company to expand and to add to our already existing measurement equipment in a constantly developing enviroment. The customers we talked to at the fair in Beijing confirmed over and again in what high esteem our products are held.
